Dulini River Lodge

Dulini River Lodge has six suites on the river in the Exeter concession of the Sabi Sand. It is small, and that is why we use it. With six suites there is no crowd at dinner, and your own vehicle, guide and tracker are waiting at the strip when you land.

On Victoria Falls & the Lowveld you come here straight from Fancourt. A Pilatus PC-12 flies you north-east from George, and on approach to the Exeter strip the pilot makes a low pass to clear the impala, and sometimes buffalo, off the runway.

Then two full days on your own timetable. Your guide follows leopard, lion and the rest of the Big Five, and stays with each sighting as long as you want. One evening you go out after dark. The night drive is when the Sabi Sand shows you the animals you would otherwise miss: leopard on the move, genet, civet, bushbaby and the white-tailed mongoose, all picked out by the tracker's light.

Dulini River suits couples and small parties who want a proper lodge without the size of one, and golfers who want to see the bush properly between Fancourt and Victoria Falls. From here the PC-12 takes you to Kruger Mpumalanga International to clear customs, then north across the Limpopo to the Zambezi.
